ATEX IBC and Tote Washing Solutions
Rotajet manufacture and sell a range of ATEX Batch IBC / Tote washing machines. The machine will process one container per cycle and typically washes an IBC / Tote in a cycle time of around 10 minutes.
The ATEX IBC / Tote washers can be supplied as a single stage or two stage machines, where the second stage users clean solvent for the final rinse. Typically in a two-stage machine, the final rinse solvent is discharged into the wash solvent for reuse. The dirty solvent in the wash tank, when spent is normally pumped out and processed in a distillation unit prior to being reused.
The machine can be fitted with either low-pressure fluid, ATEX Certified Rotating spray nozzles (5-7 BAR) or ATEX certified high pressure driven nozzles (100-170 BAR). The high pressure driven nozzles are normally used when the IBC / Tote is contaminated with heavy residues or have been left a long time prior to cleaning.
The Rotajet ATEX IBC and Tote washers are fitted with an integral solvent sump, coarse filtration, cycle timers, wash pump, clean-out doors and extraction. To ensure the safety of your operators the machine is fully interlocked when cycles are running.

- Paint manufactures: washing ink with solvents from IBC’s or Totes contaminated with raw materials or being returned from customers for refilling.
- Ink manufacturers: washing paints with solvents from IBC’s or Totes contaminated with raw materials or being returned from customers for refilling.
- Resin Manufacturers: washing resins with solvents from IBC’s or Totes contaminated with raw materials or being returned from customers for refilling.
