ATEX IBC Washers
Highly efficient IBC ATEX washing that can remove grease, oils and other contaminants safely, efficiently and with very little supervision.
This ATEX IBC washer can process one container in less than 10 minutes per cycle. We understand the importance of safety therefore, these machines are manufactured according to ATEX regulations. As a result, this ensures that this systems will be suitable for a wide range of applications.
To ensure full coverage clean the ATEX IBC washer can be supplied as single-stage or two-stage machines, where the second stage users clean solvent for the final rinse.
How does the ATEX IBC washer work?
Firstly the stainless steel IBC is easily loaded onto the sliding tracks. Then, once the pneumatic door is closed, the machine jets suitable solvents through the series of ATEX certified spray nozzles (5-7 BAR). In order to remove heavy residue or stubborn containments, for example, totes that have been left a long time prior cleaning, an ATEX certifies high pressure driven nozzle can be used (100-170BAR)high-pressure spray nozzles.
Typically, in a two-stage machine, the final rinse solvent is discharged into the wash solvent for reuse. The dirty solvent in the wash tank, when spent, is normally pumped out and processed in a distillation unit prior to being reused.
Common ATEX IBC washing applications:
Heavy paint residue can be extremely difficult to clean, especially when hardened. Because of this factor, our two stage wash system is an ideal solution to wash paints IBC that require ATEX attention.
Washing industrial inks using solvents to effectively clean IBC which are contaminated with raw materials. Ideal for systems that being returned from the customers to refilling.
Cleaning out IBC contaminated with resins could be a difficult process. However with this IBC ATEX washer, the high pressure jets and solvent dosing should make easy work of removing the material.
